Yemen

Yemen sits on the southwestern corner of the Arabian Peninsula, facing the Horn of Africa across the narrow Bab el-Mandeb strait. Its territory includes the island of Socotra in the Arabian Sea. North and South Yemen unified in 1990, with Sanaa as the capital.
