Lesotho

Lesotho is a small mountain kingdom set entirely inside South Africa, in the high Drakensberg and Maloti ranges. Independent from Britain since 1966, it sells water from its highlands to South Africa through a large dam and tunnel scheme.

Blue for the sky and rain, white for peace, green for prosperity. The black mokorotlo, the traditional Basotho hat, stands for the people. Adopted in 2006.
