Guinea-Bissau

Guinea-Bissau is a small, low-lying country on West Africa's Atlantic coast, between Senegal and Guinea, with an island archipelago offshore. It declared independence from Portugal in 1973 after a long liberation war, recognised by Portugal in 1974.
